Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site operators. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — this policy covers all of them collectively as "cookies".
2. Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
Required for the Service to function. Cannot be disabled.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in (served as __Secure-better-auth.session_token over HTTPS) | Until you sign out |
| better-auth.oauth_state | Protects the Google or Apple sign-in flow against forgery | Only while you sign in |
| flowti-consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies | 6 months |
Functional
Enhance usability by remembering your preferences.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers whether you read the site in Spanish or English | 1 year |
Your dark/light mode choice and your language choice are also kept in your browser's local storage (theme, preferred-locale). Those values stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Analytics
Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. They identify your browser across visits rather than only in aggregate, and they run on every page of flowti.co, including public profiles. If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, nothing in this section loads until you accept it: we ask first, and PostHog is not even downloaded before you answer. Creators can also connect their own Google Analytics to their page; that script follows the same choice.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ph_*_posthog | Set by PostHog, our product analytics provider, to recognise your browser between visits | 1 year |
If you sign up, we also keep how you found us — the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link — in your browser's local storage (claimed_attribution) so it survives the verification email, and attach it to your account once. It is written only if you have accepted analytics, it is deleted as soon as it is used, and it expires after 30 days.
Payments
We set no payment cookies on this site. Checkout for paid plans takes place on a page hosted by Polar Software, Inc., our merchant of record, so any cookie involved in completing a purchase is set by Polar on their own domain and is governed by the Polar Privacy Policy.
3. How to Manage Cookies
Your answer about analytics cookies can be changed here at any time. Changing it brings the banner back so you can choose again; rejecting also stops the analytics already running on this browser.
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service (in particular, you will not be able to stay logged in).
Instructions for popular browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
You can also use browser extensions such as Privacy Badger or uBlock Origin to control tracking across the web.
4. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. Because there is no consistent industry standard for DNT, we currently do not alter our data collection practices in response to DNT signals. We will revisit this policy as standards evolve.
