Smart links: deep links and UTM in Flowti
Every link you add to Flowti goes through our smart redirector. This enables deep-linking into native apps and detailed tracking with zero effort.
How the redirector works
When a visitor clicks a link, Flowti redirects through /l/[id]. At that moment we detect the device and decide whether to open the native app (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify…) or the web browser.
Apps supported for deep-linking
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Twitch, Twitter/X, Threads, Substack and others. If the app isn't installed, it falls back to the web browser automatically.
Automatic UTM tracking
Flowti adds UTMs automatically when the visitor arrives with a ?utm_source= in your shared URL. You'll know exactly which social network drove each click, and if you use Google Analytics, the parameters propagate to the destination.
