My domain won't verify: how to fix it
90% of verification issues are fixed in 3 steps. Start with the most likely cause and work down.
Cause 1: DNS hasn't propagated yet
This is the most common issue. After saving the DNS record, it can take from 5 minutes to 48 hours to propagate globally. Check with dnschecker.org by pasting your domain and selecting CNAME type (or A for apex).
Cause 2: CNAME record typed wrong
- Value must be exactly `cname.flowti.co` (no "https://", no trailing slash).
- Name (Host) must be just the subdomain portion (`links`, not `links.mydomain.com`).
- For an apex domain, Name must be `@`.
Cause 3: Cloudflare Proxy enabled
If you use Cloudflare DNS, make sure the record is in "DNS only" mode (gray cloud), not "Proxied" (orange cloud). The orange cloud breaks verification.
Cause 4: Registrars without CNAME flattening
Some registrars don't allow CNAME on the apex domain (example.com). In that case use an A record pointing to 216.198.79.1.
